I'm an antizionist Jew who lives nowhere near Philly, but I do know an antizionist Jewish dancer based there - check out https://www.nicolebindler.com/about
I've only been in NS since summer 2022. It's so lovely! I sure do miss cool coffee shops here on the outskirts of Bridgewater. When I go to the city, that's all I do: hang out in coffee shops and write!
Thank you! And yeah, I offer Chinese Medicine services to folks at emOcean in Lunenburg and like No. 9 there in lots of ways...but it's so small and rarely has seating when I go.
Hi! My name is Amy. I'm a teacher and writer in Vancouver. I'm looking to make more queer friends locally. My instagram is @amy.niamh.h - feel free to reach out :)
hi! I'm Caitlin, a writer and comedian in Edmonton, AB. Interested in connecting with other free-thinkers, especially to talk writing! It can be hard to be in a creative field as a genuine believer in free speech, and I'd love to connect and make friends with other artists. My email is 94caitlinhart@gmail.com :) feel free to reach out!
*Edited to add: I write a substack about cooking and relationships, called cooking for other people. check it out if that's your thing!
Hey! I recently moved just north of you on the KY border, Scott County. I'm in the VERY early phases of building myself a house and retreat space on my acreage. Stay in touch! I'll be hosting many events in the future. Yoga, trauma recovery workshops, & other non-typical retreats of all kinds. :) @WhiskyEye
Hi WhiskyEye! I am looking in Colorado to do something very similar!! An inclusive retreat center of sorts. Feel free to send me an email at emily.squadra@gmail.com if you’d like to chat more.
Heya! I'm Matty and I'm a graphic designer and restaurant person based in Rossland BC! I'm here to connect with people, date people, and collaborate with people! I also want to be available to provide support or fellowship to cancelled peeps like myself. My instagram is @f3llerfromdrumh3ller
I’m Emerson, currently in Los Angeles, though I’d love to find a place in which it’s less notoriously tricky to make friends and find community.
Within the last year or so - in the wake of a brutal divorce and disenchantment with how my usual circle of artists and activists were treating each other - I mostly shut out the world and devoted myself to making art that’s decidedly not to most tastes (though much more to my own than before).
You can learn way too much about me, some of it true, from my podcast Emerson Dameron’s Medicated Minutes, broadly a satire on self-help.
I’d de delighted to make new friends, meet possible creative collaborators, or just have a fun, freewheeling conversation in person. Dating again sounds nice in theory, although I'm not holding my breath for that. Email is edameron (at) gmail.
Howdy 👋 I’m (25F) a singer/songwriter (by night, office worker by day) in the twin cities (Minnesota) looking for musical collaborators and potential band members. I studied nuclear politics and international relations in college, became extremely disillusioned, and went pretty far left - I was one of those people posting insufferable political infographics in my instagram stories in 2020-2021 (sorry). I’ve since changed my mind on the benefits of shaming people into agreeing with you/bullying them if they don’t (there are none). I’m staunchly anti-war, pro-free speech, and pro-healthy dialogue with boundaries. I want to touch my phone less and touch grass more in 2024 - I had an existential crisis recently and am trying to put myself out there creatively and live my life to the fullest. Would love to meet progressive, non-militant, nonjudgmental people to jam with or just chat! :)
My name is Sascha and I'm a therapist and I super love Clemetine's work and definitely have used her name to suss out how people think about social justice and cancel culture! For many years my friends and I ran a radical mental health network of peer support groups called The Icarus Project which ended up in a crisis because a lot of the leftist identitarian issues Clementine writes about. I think a lot about shame and social ostracization and ways we can do it better. You can find me on substack at https://undergroundtransmissions.substack.com/ and here's my personal website: https://www.saschadubrul.com/
Hi, I’m Maya! I’m a 25 year old woman born and raised in western Washington state in the USA. I am a bisexual, feminist, musician, union kid, cancelled x2, friend, and lover. I work as a care aide for adults with developmental disabilities, and in my free time I like reading gross books, writing queer girl country music, playing outside, and spending time with my loved ones. I’m a total religion nerd and love learning about different spiritual practices. In the warmer months I love to garden and fish.
I’m looking for friends, other musicians to collaborate with, and community where I don’t have to walk on eggshells. I consider myself a proud radical feminist (NOT a terf- yes, that is a thing) and would love to find more friends who are interested in talking/learning more about radical/4th wave feminism, WITHOUT the transphobia that can be so prevalent in the movement.
I hope to offer others a safe shoulder to lean on, someone to celebrate and cry with, a friend to drink mead and listen to outlaw country with. Mostly, I want to meet people who also don’t want to hurt other people.
Hi, I'm Brett Williams, I'm a librarian, researcher and editor in Hamilton, Ontario.
I do editing, citation editing and research consulting on bibliometrics and search design for graduate students, early career academics and small researchers. I'm open to new clients. Yes, I can fix all the citations in your thesis :)
The best way to contact me for consulting work is through my newsletter here on Substack.
I'm also interested in queer community in the Hamilton and Toronto area, especially if the term 'neuroqueer' has popped up on your radar. The best way to contact me is via threads & IG at @brettlwilliams
Ooh, I've got two essays and a MA dissertation coming up in the next few months, I might take you up on that! Neurodiversity is actually central to my writing as well!
Katie, Madawaska Valley Ontario. Artist, mother. Happy to make friends or connect with anyone local who loves exploring social and political ideas and how to pursue worthy goals while challenging binary thinking.
Hey y’all I’m Lauren. I’m fortunate I’ve managed to live a life sheltered from associations or interactions with nexans, but I’m fascinated by the overlap between this and religious phenomena and love hearing Clementine and others’ critiques and suggestions for transformation in the culture. My values include autonomy, freedom, creativity, mutual respect, honesty, integrity, generosity, curiosity, open-mindedness, tolerance, patience, discipline, and growth. I’m interested in consensual non-monogamy, kink, trauma, polyvagal theory, attachment theory, addiction, sustainability, indigenous knowledge, ecology, geospatial science, wilderness, recreation, running, hiking, skiing, travel, food, podcasts, books, and music. I’m looking for anyone who wants to engage further on any of these topics, especially looking for more people in my life to dive into deeper intellectual conversations with, as I feel this has been lacking for too long given how much time I’ve spent in extremely small, conservative rural areas. Open to finding irl or online friendship, organizing, collaborating in an intellectual exchange, or other, as-yet-unknown formats, and possibly dating. I’m located in western Montana, US. Please email lpfund [at] coa.edu if any of this resonates.
Hi! Im Rita, Portuguese, based in Berlin most of the time. Born stamped as an artist, with a huge interest in being employed by someone as paradoxically as it sounds. Interested in collaborating professionally or artistically, online or offline.
I'm from Berlin too! I've had the opportunity to meet people via the Podcast Discord channel at Clementine and Jay, mainly from Hamburg, the U.K. and the U.S.A. It's nice to see that some people here follow their work. I'm Canadian, born in Venezuela. I left Canada 2.5 years ago to follow a dream of living in Berlin. Networking happens naturally, but slowly: I'm having a lot of trouble learning the language. At the moment, I'm involved in a number of artistic projects with friends, hoping eventually to be able to do once again what I used to do, i.e. d.o.p. and photography at a level that will allow me to survive and stay in Germany. My ig is jonnjiss but I don't post very often, unless it's deeply felt. It would be nice to know other people in Berlin who share certain inspirations, such as Clementine's writings. Kindly,
