I really appreciated this especially amidst all the discourse around the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It seems like you have to pick a side in order to not be seen as a "genocider" and if you ask any questions or don't get your news from the "correct" sources you personally are enabling the ethnic cleansing. It's frustrating and I really wish there was more space to ask questions, because we really need that space for discussion/questions if we want to help people.
Thank you for saying this, I have been thinking and feeling about this very profoundly and have been cowed into silence. Ive written so many things, shared them, deleted them. Trying to express where I'm at in my own thinking about it. Trying to speak to concerns I haven't felt being addressed, or haven't liked how I've seen be addressed. Really wanting to express solidarity with all parties but fearing trying to do so will be seen as siding with the oppressor; even saying this here feels dangerous. How will what I'm saying be interpreted, misinterpreted. I appreciate everything being said here; the biggest piece for me is, my own trauma and consequential feeling of unsafely in the existing climate of conversation.
Thanks so much for this and all the work you're doing, Clementine! I know I've said this recently and I feel like praise porn can get old quickly, so I won't keep commenting rah rah on everything you write (I'll limit myself to every few months 😂 and eventually I'll probably have something substantive to say about the topic at hand), but rest assured: you're doing inspirational work, and it's helping me in my life. Thank you.
In this case, I was working on a Sunday night because I got bills to pay. I took a brief break and read this and teared up, reminded of how sacred this life is, how much we have at stake, and how I have the agency to make a difference.
I appreciate your writing so much! And clearly so much thinking and rethinking and questioning behind it. This has reminded me to go back to reading some bell hooks I set aside for a while. I don’t connect with all of it but it made me think and rethink my own stances
I'm grateful for the way you've articulated the similarities between the education system and The Nexus!
I started typing a comment about the way knowledge integration works in the education system and The Nexus, but around the 500 word mark I realized I wanted to turn it into its own article, so if you're interested in reading my comment-turned-article, it's the one I just published called "Knowledge Bricks and Blueprints" 😂

I can't edit my typos and I am embarrassed but that is ok

Again: thank you.
